Research Overview

Current research within the Lan group is revolved around soft matter, supramolecular chemistry and interfaces, aiming to develop nature-inspired adaptive materials & systems for innovative solutions to address grand challenges in health, environment and sustainability. Current research projects/area include: 1) nature-inspired advanced colloids for vaccine formulation, drug-delivery, and emulsification; 2) nature-inspired functional materials (membranes, colloids) for CO2 capture, separation and utilisation (photocatalytic reduction of CO2).
